The cuvée
One plot. One century. 940 bottles.
On the estate’s first terrace, 0.8 hectares of vines approaching their hundredth year send their roots down into the red pebbles. Tiny yields, picked berry by berry, patient ageing in demi-muids. The result: a dense, luminous red, built for twenty years in the cellar.

The story
It all began here.
On the Cérinhac hillsides, red stone breaks the surface as soon as you dig. Étienne knew it — he planted all the same, in 1928, on the most unforgiving terrace of the estate. Three generations on, those same vines give barely one bunch each. It is this rarity, and this memory, that we bottle under the name La Première Pierre.

How long can I keep it?+
It can be enjoyed now, in its youth, but shows its full texture after 8 to 10 years. Estimated ageing potential: 20 years in good conditions.
Will the cuvée be made again?+
No. The 2021 vintage is limited to 940 bottles, each one numbered. Once they are gone, there will be no more.
How do I receive it?+
Write to us: Clémence confirms your allocation and sends the invoice. We then ship it in a wooden case, in reinforced packaging, within mainland France. There is no online payment.
Can I taste it at the estate?+
It is not among the wines poured during the visit: the bottles are counted. You will taste Haut-Cérinhac, born on the same hillsides, and you can talk about your allocation with Clémence.
