Stories from the estate

The 2026 harvest: when the land says thank you

by Jérôme

This year the vines gave us quite a gift. The story of a harvest unlike any other, between first light and full baskets.

This year we waited for the harvest the way you wait for an old friend. The summer sun was generous, and the rain came when it was needed, neither too much nor too little. The result: round, sweet bunches that already smelled of ripe fruit before they were even picked.

« You smell a good harvest before you see it. The nose always knows before the eyes. »
— Jérôme, in the estate’s vines all year round

We started at dawn, when the dew still sleeps on the leaves and the silence belongs to the birds alone. The whole team was there, secateurs in hand, basket on the hip, hearts a little tight as every year: cutting what you have watched grow for months is always a moment. The village children came to lend a hand, as they used to. We laughed, we sang, and we tasted a few grapes straight from the vine.

Then comes the press. The smell of the running must, sweet and a little sharp, always catches you. At that moment we already know we have something beautiful. Now time has to do its work in the cellar. This vintage promises to be very good, and we will keep you posted.

To celebrate the end of the harvest, join us on 18 September for the Moonlight Harvest Apéritif, in the courtyard of the old winery: a tasting, country-style tartines and harvest stories.
