La Robe Tendre

Born on the most exposed rolled pebbles of the hillside, this rosé is drunk the way you bite into a white peach in the shade of a fig tree. Gentle pressing, a short cold maceration: just long enough for the Grenache skins to give up their pale colour and their charm, without ever weighing down the glass.

On the palate, wild strawberry comes before redcurrant, carried by a clean acidity and a saline touch from the limestone soil. The finish, crisp and thirst-quenching, hints at orange blossom.

Serve well chilled at a summer table, with tomatoes from the garden, grilled fish, or simply for the pleasure of a glass with friends when the low light skims the vines.
