Tasting notes
Born on the estate's most exposed limestone slopes, Les Calades takes its name from the calade, the old cobbled path that climbs between its rows. The pale stone warms the vines from the first rays of morning. Rolle brings roundness and notes of candied citrus, while Clairette leaves a saline freshness on the finish.
Picked early to keep its natural acidity, it is made in vat on its fine lees for several months, with no oak, so that the fruit and the terroir can speak.
Serve well chilled as an aperitif, with seafood or a chicken roasted with garrigue herbs.
